Star Home Clear Varnish
Description
Star Home Clear Varnish is a transparent, two
component polyurethane varnish. The membrane it
forms is watertight and resistant to UV radiation; it has
great mechanical and chemical resistance.
It offers the following advantages:
- Easy application
- Vapor permeability
- Resistance to UV radiation and weather conditions (rain, frost)
- Resistance to detergents, oils, seawater, alkalis
- Resistance to pedestrian traffic and light vehicular traffic
Field of Use
Star Home Clear Varnish is suitable for
waterproofing and protection of:
- Decorative micro cement coatings
- Concrete
- Natural stone
- Wood
- Metal surfaces
- Epoxy coatings (e.g. as protection of epoxy coat inside swimming pools).
Direction For Use
Substrate preparation
The substrate should be dry and free of grease,
dust, etc.
Application
Stir STAR HOME Clear Varnish before use. It is
applied by roller, brush, or airless gun. Depending
on the porosity and intended use of the substrate, 2
4 coats are required. Each coat is applied within 24
hours from the previous one, depending on the
weather conditions.
Coverage
STAR HOME Clear Varnish 12-15m2 /lit per coat, depending on the porosity of the substrate.
Packing
STAR HOME Clear Varnish is supplied in 0.75 lit and 3 lit containers.
Storage
24 months from production date if stored in original, unopened packaging, at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C. Protect from direct sunlight and frost.
