Description
CHEENAR WEATHER RESIST is a premium matt 100% acrylic paint for exterior use. Suitable for new or old surfaces requiring frequent repainting, e.g. public buildings, hotels, hospitals, schools, etc. Features high water-repellency,
excellent opacity and surface coverage, as well as outstanding
resistance to weather conditions and aging. Provides excellent
workability and flow while having quick-drying time. Being
vapor-permeable, it allows high building breathability. Offers
strong adhesion to any type of new or old substrate. Delivers a
flawless matt finish.
Field of Use
CHEENAR WEATHER RESIST is used for exterior use on all common building materials, including concrete, render, bricks, gypsum boards, asbestos cement, wood, etc. It constitutes an economic and reliable solution for painting.
Direction For Use
Substrate preparation
- The substrate should be dry and free of grease, loose particles, dust, etc.
- Cracks or joints are filled with CHEENAR acrylic based 100 % filling
- Any imperfections in concrete should be patched with cement, while imperfections in exposed concrete should be plastered.
- Plastered walls should be primed with the water-based primer 100% Acrylic, thinned up to 50% with clean water. These primers are also ideal to use for stabilization of loose or crumbly substrates.
- In case you are going to paint with dark colors, it is recommended to apply a coat of CHEENAR ACRYLIC BASED PRIMER tinted in a light shade of the same color tone on a base with higher opacity
Application
Before use, CHEENAR ACRYLIC BASED PRIMER should be thoroughly stirred and applied as is or thinned by 40-45% with clean water. Two coats of CHEENAR ACRYLIC BASED PRIMER are applied with a roller, brush, or airless gun. The second coat is applied after the first one has completely dried. Temperature during
application and drying of the paint should be between +10°C and +35°C.
Coverage
CHEENAR WEATHER SHIELD covers approx. 13-15 m2/lit per coat, on previously prepared surfaces.
Packing
CHEENAR WEATHER SHIELD is supplied in 1 lit and 4 lit containers.
Storage
24 months from production date if stored in original, unopened packaging, at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C. Protect from direct sunlight and frost.
